The chakra system is an ancient framework originating from Eastern traditions, describing seven primary energy centers along the spine, from the base of the pelvis to the crown of the head. Each chakra has its own color, element, sound, and essential oil profile, and when balanced, supports vitality, harmony, and inner alignment. The set comes with simple instructions on how to use, however, the chakra system is a bit of a complex philosophy, so if you would like to know more about it, I encourage you to do some reading on it- the most elaborate book I have come across on this subject is “Eastern Body, Western Mind” by Anodea Judith.

Each balm carries its own distinctive scent, designed to align with its chakra and support spiritual and physical harmony. Apply the balms to their corresponding chakra locations (detailed in the instruction cards included), as well as temples, pulse points, or below the nose for added effect. For the root chakra, apply to the lower back near the tailbone or on the feet—never directly on genitals, eyes, or mucous membranes.

The set comes in a handmade fabric pouch with a guide to each chakra and instructions for mindful use and decorated with a tiny sage bundle, making it a beautiful and thoughtful gift for yourself or a loved one.
